Mission

Kalundborg Harbour’s mission is:

- To be the local harbour for West Sjælland’s industry
- To be a regional harbour for all of Sjælland, as we are a unique deep water facility, with depths to 15 m.

- To be an important part of the Danish East-West infrastructure, with ferry connections to Århus, which at this time transports about 14 % of all freight between east and west Denmark
- To continue development as one of Denmark’s “Ports”.

- To be a potential location for largerharbour based industries
- To maintain our position as one of Sjælland’s leading harbours, with the intention of providing the population, and industry, access to effective maritime transportation at the right price.
